This is from HubPages guide - the section on how a writer earns money from their Hub. In a nutshell, there are 4 ways to earn money, HubPages takes 40% and you earn 60%. I'm referencing it because while you may not choose to give HubPages 40% of your earnings, it's a good list of the four easiest ways to monetize any of your blogs.

I was a little confused about how to set up a Hub as I posted one post and left it alone for a couple of days. When I checked back there was a notice that I was in danger of being flagged for incomplete content.
