Slash My Search & ZotSpot Review

A Blogspot Blogger reviews Two Search Engines You Can Make Money With. He recommends Slash My Search and ZotSpot, but I noticed that his link to Slash My Search which would pay him if you click on it and sign up with Slash My Search leads to a 404 error page. So I did a little research on Slash My Search and this is what I found:

So I think I'll skip Slash My Search and I recommend you do the same.

Now let's check out ZotSpot. While John mentions ZotSpot, he doesn't include a link to ZotSpot. Wonder why? I guess cuz it doesn't pay him to refer others. So let's check it out and see if it's legit. I'm finding lots of "reviews" which are basically a description of what ZotSpot does, but I'm not finding anyone who is actually using it. My assessment? ZotSpot is not worth my time to go through setting it up. I'll try to revisit this in six months or so and see if I can find some reviews from actual users of their service.

I think I'll stick with Google's search box if I want to get paid when my readers search for information from one of my pages. Note to readers: I have Google's search box on several of my blogs but I don't think the link above is the correct link. The search boxes I have pay me when readers search for info anywhere on the Internet, not just on my pages. So if you find a better link to this Google app please add a comment.
