What Blurb Shows Up in Google?

Google "Parenting For a Better World". Many websites come up, but all of them are showing up because they posted an article entitled "Parenting For a Better World" by Jim Sevy. The thing that's interesting is that each website shows a different blurb in Google. Take a look at the page source for each of the websites on page 1 of the Google results for this search and see if you can find out why this is. If you can find out why, then you can use that knowledge to structure your posts to show what you want to show in Google.

Note: I originally ran this search because I wanted to delete this article from a website and a blog where I had posted it some time ago. I decided not to delete it from OCSitters.net because it was already indexed. I did delete it from SoCASittersUnlimited because it wasn't indexed there.

Since I must leave the post on OCSitters.net, I want to tweak it so that it works in my favor, instead of just giving a backlink to Sevy's site. If you have any ideas off the top of your head, let me know, but I'll be thinking about it also and will work on it when I get to working on the OCSitters.net site.

  1. I know why it does that, it been crawled, and few other reasons. Peace D.

  2. This ain't no big thing, I tell you how that worked for them, and why different blurbs but not on open post. I don't even need to look at the open source, I know it from doing similar kinds of placements. Peace D.
